• It may cause the level of potassium in your blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as bananas and broccoli.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney diseases.
• Do not take Sacutan 50 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Indication of Sacutan 50mg Tablet

• Used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in patients with chronic heart failure (NYHA Class ll-IV) and reduced ejection fraction.
• Also employed in treating symptomatic heart failure with systemic left ventricular systolic dysfunction in pediatric patients aged one year and older.
• Typically administered alongside other heart failure therapies, replacing an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEi) or other ARB.

Pharmacology

• Contains sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker.

• Hepatic Impairment: Dosage adjustment is required in moderate hepatic impairment; it is not recommended in severe impairment.
